Our previous experience

PEC has been sourcing wind energy project sites for several years. Many of these sites have successfully gone through the planning stages and some will be developed in the coming years.

What PEC can offer

It is often the case that an investor has the means to develop a wind energy project but may not know how to go about securing good quality land control in areas of high wind resource. Our approach uses a number of site selection tools including GIS based systems, grid connection proximity, known environmental and technical constraints and wind speed estimates.

PEC staff will determine the landowners in areas of interest and approach them in order to agree robust land control contracts. The number of landowners depends on the scale of the project under consideration. Although land control negotiations can be complex PEC has the experience to deliver high quality bankable agreements for the investor in relatively short timeframes.
